Independent, and not RTA
This site is published by a small editorial team, not by RTA or any government body in Dubai. Names such as NOL, RTA, Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram and the station names used throughout belong to their owners and appear here to describe the services they refer to.
Nothing here is an official RTA communication. For anything binding, including fines, refunds, card blocking and account disputes, rta.ae and the RTA call centre are the only authoritative routes.
No website can show you your balance
RTA's balance form is protected by a robot check that RTA verifies on its own server, so no third party site can fetch a balance on your behalf. Sites that claim to do it take your tag ID, show an animation and then send you to RTA anyway.
Our checker is honest about that. It validates the 10 digit format, keeps the number in your own browser so you can copy it, and opens RTA's official page for you to complete the check. The number is never sent to us. The privacy policy covers exactly what is stored and where.
Fares and timings are estimates
Fares, pass prices, timings and journey estimates come from RTA pages and PDFs, each stored with the date it was fetched, and the calculators apply RTA's published rules to them. They are accurate to the best of our knowledge and they are still estimates. The gate display when you tap is what you actually paid.
Where a figure is not confirmed by a current RTA page, we label it rather than presenting it as fact. The daily fare cap is the clearest example: it traces to RTA's 2014 tariff revision and does not appear on the current fares page. Station zones are read from the rail network map published in December 2025, and stations drawn on a boundary are flagged. The editorial policy lists every labelled figure and why it carries a label.
How the site is funded
The site is funded by display advertising through Google AdSense and Adsterra. An advertisement appearing on a page is not a recommendation from us, and advertisers have no say in what the pages say or which figures they carry.
If you find something wrong, out of date or unclear, tell us and it gets fixed. Corrections are the fastest way this site improves.
